EA Settings Explained – Customize Your Strategy with Confidence

🛠️ Core Trade Controls

  • Open New Series: Enable or disable the start of a new trading cycle

  • Start Lots: Defines the initial lot size for the first trade

  • Trade Buy / Trade Sell: Allow the EA to open buy and/or sell trades

  • Support Manual Orders: When enabled, the EA can manage manual trades you open yourself

  • Use Hedge: Allows trades in both directions (buy and sell). When off, the EA will only trade in one direction

📈 Lot Management

  • Use Money Management: Turn on automatic lot sizing based on account balance

  • Autolot – Free Margin per 0.01 Lot: Set how much free margin is required to open each 0.01 lot

  • Lot Multiplier: Multiplies lot size for each subsequent order in a series

🎯 Take Profit & Stop Loss

  • TP (Take Profit): Target profit in pips for each trade

  • SL (Stop Loss): Stop loss in pips, measured from the first trade in a series

📊 Grid & Trailing Stop

  • Grid Step: Distance between trades in the grid (in pips)

  • Trail Start: When trailing stop is activated (distance from entry)

  • Trail Step: Step size for trailing stop movement

📉 Drawdown Reduction System

  • DD Reduction Algorithm: Automatically closes profitable trades with losing trades to reduce drawdown

  • Number Order for DD Reduction: Defines from which trade in the sequence the system activates

  • Percent Profit for DD Reduction: Percentage of profit needed before triggering the close in DD mode

🧠 Misc Settings

  • Magic: Unique ID number used by the EA to track its own trades

  • Start Hour / End Hour: Defines the time window for opening the first trade of the series

  • Maximum Lot: Limits the highest lot size the EA can use

  • Maximum Spread: Prevents the EA from opening trades when spreads are too wide

📉 Momentum Filter (Optional)

  • Mom_Period: Period of the Momentum indicator used as a filter

  • Up Level: If momentum is above this value, the EA opens sell trades

  • Down Level: If momentum is below this value, the EA opens buy trades
