Lot Size & Risk Management
You can choose between fixed lot sizing or automatic risk calculation:
To use a fixed lot size, enter your desired lot in the “Lot” field and set “AutoRisk” to 0.
To use automatic risk management, specify your risk percentage in “AutoRisk” and set “Lot” to 0.
How AutoRisk works:
AutoRisk calculates your risk per trade as a percentage of your account balance. For example, setting AutoRisk to 10 means a stop loss hit will result in a 10% loss of your deposit.
Data & Testing Notes
Neurotron’s neural networks have been collecting and analyzing market patterns since January 2022.
For accurate backtesting and live trading, use data from 2022.01.01 onward. Older data is less relevant due to rapidly changing market conditions.
Our focus is on the current market, not historical decades-old data. One year of recent data is sufficient to analyze relevant patterns.
Time Settings & Broker Time Zones
Correct time settings are crucial for the EA to function properly:
GMT: Your broker’s offset from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
DST: Daylight Saving Time adjustment (true or false)
Most brokers like IC Markets, FP Markets, Pepperstone, and AxiTrader use Daylight Saving Time. For these:
Set GMT to your broker’s wintertime offset (usually GMT+2)
Set DST = true (this enables automatic 1-hour shift during summer)
If your broker does not use Daylight Saving Time, set:
DST = false
GMT according to your broker’s consistent time offset
