Basic Martingale Semi-Auto EA: How It Works & How to Use It
How It Works:
You open the first trade based on your analysis.
The EA automatically sets the Take Profit (TP).
If the market moves against you, the EA opens additional trades with increased lot sizes (1.3x each time) to average down and bring the TP closer.
When price moves back in your favor, the EA closes all trades at profit.
Important Usage Suggestions
Account Size: Recommended minimum deposit is $1000 for starting with 0.01 lots.
Trade Frequency: Only 1 trade per day to reduce risk exposure.
Trading Time: Limit trades to two windows:
GMT 8:00 – 8:30
GMT 12:00 – 12:30
Time Frame: Use the M5 chart for trade setups.
Take Profit: Fixed at 10 pips per trade.
Trailing Stop: Turned OFF for this strategy.
News Trading: Avoid entering trades during news; only trade a few minutes before or 30 minutes after major news events.
Trend Direction: Use Moving Average (MA10 & MA144) for trend confirmation.
Entry Point: Enter trades on pullbacks, not at market extremes (peaks or valleys).
Profit Target: Aim for a modest 0.1% daily profit for steady growth.
Trend Strategy (FMA & SMA) Setup
Confirm a bullish trend for long trades:
Bull candle above Fast Moving Average (FMA10) on D1 chart.
Price above FMA10 on H1 chart.
FMA10 above Slow Moving Average (SMA144) on M5 chart.
FMA10 crosses above SMA144 on M1 chart — this triggers entry.
Short trades are the exact opposite (bearish conditions on these charts).
Trade only when the market is active—high volume and price movement increase success chances.
Key Points to Remember
Martingale increases lot size after losses; requires sufficient capital and discipline.
This semi-auto EA manages trades after your initial order — you control entry timing and direction.
Stick to recommended trading times and strategy to minimize risks.
This method is for patient traders aiming for consistent small profits, not quick riches.
